Things to know about Dalkey Devils...
Dalkey Devils Volleyball Club was established in May 2011. It is a non-profit organisation, and ran exclusively ran by volunteers. If you would like to be part of our volunteers group, please use the Contact form to get in touch - we'd love to hear from you!
As some of you might know by now, all of the scorekeeping for our adult teams has to be done online from September 2024 onwards (the youth ones continue on paper for now). We can all start by watching this e-scoring presentation from Volleyball Association of Ireland and getting involved in the scorekeeping as soon as possible!
The Dalkey Devils are very well regarded in their local community. The Club is inclusive, and holds annual fundraising events (fun sessions or tournaments) with the proceeds going to worthwhile causes such as the DSPCA and Barrettstown. This activity has earned the Club multiple community awards in the Dun Laoghaire - Rathdown area.
Dalkey Devils Volleyball Club hears and understands the needs of residents in our community. In 2011 we heard the group of local people who gathered together to play volleyball for the first time, and we hear them now, wanting their children to play volleyball too. For the 8 years of the club’s activity, we established women’s and men’s team which compete in the National Irish Volleyball League and junior’s team which participates in the schools and clubs competitions.
We also support 'social' volleyball by organizing Fun sessions every week to bring people from all sexes, ages and abilities to exercise and socialise with a great crowd, in a fun and friendly environment.
